ELECTRONIC DEVICE INSURANCE

This insurance covers all electronic devices in your business (fixed office devices such as computers, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, telephone exchanges; CNC machines; textile and lathe machines; medical devices such as ultrasound, MRI, CT scanners, X-ray machines, gamma cameras, film printing and processing devices; devices at radio and television stations, etc.) after their installation and testing are completed and they are fully operational.

Electronic Device Insurance automatically covers the following main risks, provided they occur suddenly and unexpectedly:

• Faulty design and materials
• Damage caused by electrical energy (voltage fluctuations, short circuits/smokeless fire, indirect effects of lightning)

The basis of valuation for this insurance is the replacement value of the devices as new. Since most of the damage covered under this insurance involves partial damages where the faulty part is replaced with a new one, the compensation is calculated based on the cost of the new part.
