FORM OF THE GREENCARD

1. All Green Cards must be in the form accepted by the Inland Transport Committee's Road Transport Working Group of the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
2. The Green Card must be green in color.
3. No alterations can be made to the card.
4. No existing section can be erased.
5. No information on the Green Card can be changed.
6. The symbols for European Union countries and Switzerland are displayed in the same box.
7. Each other country has its own symbol in separate boxes.
8. The address of the Bureau Council's website must be written on the Green Card and located on the back of the page.
9. If the box containing a country's international abbreviation is crossed out, the Green Card is not valid in that country.
10. At the top of the Green Card, the term "International Motor Insurance Card" must be written in the issuing country's main language, as well as in English and French.
11. The start and end dates of the Green Card's validity must be written on the card. These dates must cover the period the vehicle will be in Turkey.
12. The country code, the issuing insurer's code, and the Green Card number must be written on the Green Card.
13. The license plate of the insured vehicle, or if not available, the chassis number or engine number, must be written on the Green Card.
14. The make and type of the vehicle (trailer, tractor, caravan, etc.) must be written on the Green Card.
15. The name and address of the policyholder or vehicle user, as well as the name and address of the insurer, must be written on the Green Card.
16. If Turkey's international abbreviation, TR, is not crossed out, Green Cards are valid throughout Turkey (including both the Asian and European sides).
17. Any notes added to the Green Card are invalid.
18. The international abbreviations of the member states of the system, along with the contact information of the respective country Bureaus, are written on the back of the Green Card.
